Cannelle explores chemical peels for acne, targeting congestion, excess oil and post-breakout marks to promote clearer, refined skin.
In short yes!The CLINICCARE Pure BHA Peel is a mild salicylic acid peel suitable for inflammatory and non inflammatory acne. It is a light (pH 2.4) chemical peel that will remove the upper layers of the epidermis and although described as ‘light’, often a series of milder chemical peel treatments can produce better results than a single deep layer chemical peel.
Salicylic Acid 20%
A beta-hydroxy acid naturally derived from willow bark, salicylic acid is able to penetrate deep into the pores and dissolve excess sebum. Its keratolytic and comedolytic action helps clear congestion and target active breakouts, while its anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties make it well-tolerated, even for sensitive or rosacea-prone skin.
Lactic Acid 12%
A gentle alpha-hydroxy acid that attracts moisture to the skin, helping to maintain hydration while exfoliating. Lactic acid supports a smoother complexion and promotes collagen synthesis, contributing to improved skin texture and tone.
Glycolic Acid 12%
A highly effective exfoliating AHA that accelerates cellular renewal and helps disperse melanin in the basal layer, reducing dullness and uneven pigmentation. Glycolic acid also minimises excess surface oil and encourages the growth of new, healthier skin.
